Jacob Bogatin: Google asks users to tell about themselves in a new application

The Cameo’s service, which has become part of the Posts on Google platform, enables some people and companies to publish messages about themselves immediately to the search engine. The program is not available to everyone, you need to get an invitation to use it, notes Jacob Bogatin.

The application was created for those who are at the center of attention. Public figures often need to answer the same annoying questions. But with Cameos, they can record video responses that will be stored in Google archives. And when someone decides in the search engine to type some of the frequently asked questions, then the first reference will give the algorithm one of these video responses recorded earlier, says Jacob Bogatin.

In the beginning, the circle of users of the service was very narrow. It included only the most famous representatives of show business and sports. But now Google has expanded this range, adding to it many businesspeople and musicians. It is planned to make the service accessible to all famous people, for example, top bloggers write Jacob Bogatin.
